Intellectual Property & Use Disclosure

Copyright, Research Frameworks, Trademarks, Licensing, and Permitted Use

Version 1.0

Effective August 17, 2026

Anointed EDU publishes research, educational materials, institutional frameworks, publications, media, graphics, and other intellectual works intended to advance scholarship, education, governance, and public understanding.

This disclosure explains the intellectual-property status and permitted use of materials made available through Anointed EDU and its associated research and publication activities. It is intended to distinguish public access from unrestricted ownership or reuse and to clarify the rights associated with original works, research frameworks, institutional identifiers, third-party materials, and openly accessible publications.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, making a work publicly accessible through Anointed EDU does not constitute a waiver, abandonment, or transfer of the intellectual-property rights associated with that work.

Ownership of Original Works

Original content published through Anointed EDU may include:

research papers and working papers;

research standards and governance frameworks;

methodologies, models, matrices, indexes, and assessment instruments;

educational materials and curricula;

books, reports, articles, and institutional publications;

diagrams, tables, figures, graphics, and visual frameworks;

research instruments and structured templates;

website text and institutional documentation;

original photographs and media;

podcasts, recordings, presentations, and related multimedia;

software concepts, specifications, and governed digital tools; and

other original scholarly, educational, or institutional works.

Unless otherwise identified, applicable copyrights and other intellectual-property interests remain with the respective author, creator, rights holder, institution, or authorized entity.

Publication, display, or free distribution through Anointed EDU should not be interpreted as a transfer of ownership.

Whiteside Research Publications and Frameworks

Works issued through Whiteside Research, the Whiteside Research Governance Series, and related research programs may contain original theories, standards, governance architectures, terminology, models, taxonomies, processes, research instruments, diagrams, and other intellectual contributions.

Public availability of these materials is intended to promote scholarly review, education, citation, responsible application, and knowledge dissemination.

Readers may describe, discuss, critique, cite, and academically engage with published ideas consistent with applicable law and accepted scholarly practice.

However, the publication of a framework or methodology does not automatically authorize another party to reproduce, rebrand, commercially distribute, materially adapt, sublicense, or represent the framework as its own intellectual property.

Appropriate attribution should accompany scholarly or professional use of identifiable Whiteside Research concepts and publications.

Canonical Publications and Version Integrity

Anointed EDU may maintain canonical institutional editions of research publications and related scholarly records.

Where a publication includes a version number, working-paper identifier, series identifier, publication date, or canonical-edition designation, those elements form part of the governed publication record.

Users should preserve materially relevant citation and version information when reproducing permitted excerpts, referencing a publication, or discussing a specific edition.

Modified, abridged, reformatted, translated, or derivative versions should not be represented as an official Anointed EDU or Whiteside Research edition unless expressly authorized.

External dissemination through repositories, indexing systems, scholarly networks, or other platforms does not alter the intellectual-property status of the underlying work.

Anointed EDU Press

Where identified, Anointed EDU Press functions as the publishing imprint associated with designated Anointed EDU publications.

A publication bearing the Anointed EDU Press name, mark, or publication information remains subject to the intellectual-property terms applicable to that work.

The use of the Anointed EDU Press name in a citation or bibliographic record does not authorize third parties to use the imprint in a manner that implies sponsorship, publication, endorsement, partnership, or institutional affiliation.

Copyright

Copyright protection may apply to original expression contained in Anointed EDU materials, including written text, graphics, photographs, diagrams, publication designs, audiovisual works, compilations, and other qualifying content.

Except where a work is expressly released under a specific license or other permission statement, all rights not otherwise granted remain reserved by the applicable copyright holder.

Limited quotation, citation, commentary, criticism, scholarship, teaching, research, and other uses may be permitted under applicable law.

Users remain responsible for determining whether a proposed use requires authorization.

Public Access Does Not Mean Public Domain

Some Anointed EDU publications may be provided to the public without charge.

Free access does not mean that a work has been placed in the public domain.

A publication may be freely downloadable while remaining protected by copyright, trademark, contractual licensing conditions, or other applicable rights.

Price, accessibility, and intellectual-property ownership are separate matters.

Unless a work expressly states that it has been released into the public domain or under an identified open license, users should not assume that unrestricted copying, adaptation, redistribution, or commercial exploitation is permitted.

Scholarly Citation and Academic Use

Anointed EDU encourages responsible scholarly engagement with its research.

Researchers, educators, students, institutions, and other readers may ordinarily cite Anointed EDU publications using the citation information supplied with the applicable work or another recognized scholarly citation format.

Citation should accurately identify the original author or authors, title, publication source, publication date, version where material, and other information necessary to locate the referenced work.

Citation provides attribution. It does not, by itself, authorize reproduction of protected material beyond what applicable law or an identified license permits.

Research Framework Implementation

An important distinction exists between studying a framework and commercially implementing or distributing a proprietary implementation of that framework.

An organization may generally analyze, critique, reference, or evaluate a published framework consistent with applicable law.

However, particular implementation materials, assessment instruments, software applications, branded certification programs, proprietary templates, training packages, or institutional deployments may be subject to separate rights or licensing requirements.

Where a specific framework is made available under additional licensing terms, those terms govern the applicable implementation.

Trademarks, Names, Logos, and Institutional Identifiers

Names, logos, seals, program names, series identities, taglines, and other institutional identifiers displayed through Anointed EDU may function as trademarks, service marks, trade names, publication marks, or other source identifiers, whether or not every mark is federally registered.

Such identifiers may include, where applicable:

Anointed EDU;

Anointed EDU Press;

Whiteside Research;

Whiteside Research Governance Series;

associated research-program names;

logos and institutional seals; and

other designated names or marks appearing on publications and institutional materials.

Nothing on the Anointed EDU website grants a general license to use these identifiers.

Third parties should not use Anointed EDU or associated marks in a manner likely to imply institutional sponsorship, certification, endorsement, partnership, authorship, affiliation, or approval where none exists.

Accurate nominative reference to an institution, publication, or research program is not intended to be restricted where such use is lawful and does not create a misleading impression of affiliation.

Logos and Seals

Institutional logos and seals are particularly sensitive source identifiers.

Downloading or viewing a logo does not provide authorization to reproduce it for commercial branding, certification, product labeling, organizational identity, endorsement, or other uses that may imply authorization.

Approved use may be provided through written permission, partnership terms, publication agreements, licensing arrangements, or other documented authorization.

Third-Party Intellectual Property

Anointed EDU materials may reference or incorporate limited third-party content where legally and academically appropriate.

Third-party materials remain the property of their respective rights holders.

References to third-party organizations, products, publications, trademarks, photographs, research, or other materials do not transfer those rights to Anointed EDU and do not imply endorsement by or affiliation with the third party unless expressly stated.

Where third-party material is used, applicable citation, attribution, licensing, permission, or lawful-use requirements should be observed.

Fair Use and Other Lawful Uses

Nothing in this disclosure is intended to restrict rights that users may independently possess under applicable law.

Depending on the circumstances and jurisdiction, lawful uses may include quotation, criticism, commentary, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, research, accessibility-related use, library activities, or other legally recognized exceptions and limitations.

Whether a particular use qualifies for an exception such as fair use depends upon the facts and applicable law.

Anointed EDU does not require permission for uses that applicable law independently authorizes.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Use

The public availability of Anointed EDU content does not automatically authorize unrestricted reproduction, republishing, commercialization, or misrepresentation of that content through artificial-intelligence systems.

AI systems and AI-assisted workflows may be used to discover, summarize, analyze, or scholarly engage with publicly available Anointed EDU materials where such use is consistent with applicable law and applicable licensing terms.

AI-generated summaries, transformations, or derivative materials should not be represented as original Anointed EDU publications, official Whiteside Research editions, or institutionally approved interpretations unless they have been expressly authorized.

Where an AI system materially transforms an original work, users should preserve appropriate attribution and should avoid presenting generated material in a manner that obscures its derivation or falsely suggests institutional authorship.

Prohibited Misrepresentation

No person or organization should:

falsely claim authorship of an Anointed EDU work;

remove attribution in order to represent another person’s work as original;

present an unauthorized modified version as an official publication;

falsely claim Anointed EDU endorsement, certification, partnership, or approval;

use institutional logos or marks to create a misleading appearance of affiliation;

knowingly misrepresent the version, provenance, authorship, or publication status of a governed research record; or

commercially distribute protected materials where permission is required but has not been obtained.

Permissions and Licensing

Uses beyond those permitted by applicable law or an applicable public license may require permission from the relevant rights holder.

Requests may include:

republication;

extensive reproduction;

commercial distribution;

translation;

adaptation;

incorporation into commercial training or certification programs;

branded institutional implementation;

software implementation;

reproduction of photographs or graphics;

use of institutional logos or seals; or

licensing of research frameworks, instruments, or implementation materials.

Permission or licensing requests should identify the specific work, intended use, audience, distribution method, commercial or noncommercial nature of the proposed activity, and any modifications contemplated.

Corrections, Attribution, and Rights Claims

Anointed EDU seeks to respect the intellectual-property rights of authors, creators, institutions, and third parties.

Good-faith concerns regarding attribution, ownership, unauthorized use, copyright, trademark use, licensing, or other intellectual-property matters may be submitted through the appropriate institutional contact channel.

Where warranted, Anointed EDU may review the relevant material and take appropriate action, including clarification, attribution correction, modification, restriction, replacement, or removal.

Governing Principle

Public access supports the circulation of knowledge; it does not erase authorship, provenance, attribution, ownership, or legitimate intellectual-property rights.

Anointed EDU seeks to balance broad scholarly access with responsible stewardship of the intellectual work entrusted to, created through, or published by the institution.

This disclosure should be read together with applicable publication-specific licenses, copyright notices, terms of use, evidence disclosures, and other rights statements accompanying individual works.
