Faithful Intelligence Theory
Faithful Intelligence Theory — Canonical Institutional Edition
Faithful Intelligence Theory: Explaining Human–AI Pedagogical Collaboration for Leadership Formation and Learning presents a m iddle-range educational theory for understanding how guided collaboration between human learners and artificial intelligence may contribute to leadership formation rather than merely accelerate task completion.
Developed by Jermaine E. Whiteside within the Faithful Intelligence Research Program, the theory identifies Guided Reflective Verificationas its central explanatory mechanism and integrates human agency, reflective control, cognitive partnership, knowledge construction, AI discernment, ethical accountability, recursive learning, verification capacity, and institutional trust into aunified theoretical architecture.
The publication develops six guiding principles for responsible human–AI pedagogical collaboration, an eight-stage Human–AI Learning Cycle, a research and measurement infrastructure, and four conceptual figures, including the Faithful Intelligence Framework and the Faithful Intelligence Measurement Model. The theory is presented as a conceptual contribution whose propositions and measurement models remain subject to future empirical validation.
